These are my concepts that were inspired by the emerging technology used in making the Black Panther movies. Access and understanding of new technologies like VR and 3D printing push boundaries and ideas forward while bringing about new opportunities, whihc is at the core of Sprite’s intiatives.
My original concept pitch for “If you can DREAM it…” was about giving the fandom an introduction and access to the technology used in the film. Using examples from the movie to highlight this tech, Sprite engages and impacts their customers using QR codes on Sprite ZERO cans. This promotes connection to Sprites brand purpose and the film.
This concept pitch was to highlight Sprite’s long commitment to hip-hop and youth culture through the use of VR. With the environments from Black Panther Wakanda Forever as the concert stage, we can immerse the audience in the films music, style and setting. The virtual concert came about during COVID lockdowns and became a way for people to come together during the pandemic.
